Student Suggestions

Here are the ideas/questions submitted by 6th grade students at MMS:

• Why do 3D movies make some people sick? How can this sickness be prevented?
• How can we create better enrichments for the animals at the Catoctin Wildlife Preserve?
• How can we design a band-aid that will adhere to knees and elbows?
• How can we improve the safety of dirt bikes?
• How can we ensure clean, fresh drinking water for all people in the world?

• How can we protect the environment by finding a solution to oil spills?
• How can we better protect Maryland's endangered bog turtle?
• Can Baltimore's Inner Harbor be made clean and swimmable? How?
• How can we better prevent skin damage and sun cancer?
• How can we construct a wind tunnel for use in P.E. classes?

Shelley and I plan to select one of these questions and develop a series of lessons based on it, so we would appreciate feedback on which of the questions would make the most interesting and appropriate CCA.
